The Saint-Tropez Classic is an off-stage race of which the next edition will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2019 in the streets and near Saint-Tropez. Departure at 9:30 am, Jaurès shipyard.
Like every year, this sporting event, organized by the running association "Courir à Saint-Tropez" in Saint-Tropez, consists of three major events:
- The Saint Tropez Classic, on a 16 kilometer track, in the city and on the Salins road.
- The Tropezienne, on a trail of 8 kilometers, in the city.
The start of both races is given simultaneously in the port of Saint-Tropez. Runners walk through the main streets and alleys of the old town at the foot of La Citadelle and then walk along the bay of Canebiers and cross the finish line at the famous Place des Lices. The choice of the distance to be traveled, 16 km or 8 km, is done on the track during the race, the inscription is unique for the two distances. The two adult events are open to athletes who are fired or without a permit and in the following categories: Junior, Senior, Master, Ladies and Gentlemen. The 8 km race is open to the Cadet category.
- The race Minots, three courses in the city of 800, 1400 and 2000 meters, is reserved for children Poussin categories, Benjamin and Minime. Source: sainttropezclassic
